English artist/painter, known for still lifes and flower pieces, was born at Bankshead, Brampton, Cumberland, the only daughter of the artists Ben and Winifred Nicholson.
She attended Bath Academy of Art, 1949–54, after which she taught for two years at Totnes High School. She had visited Cornwall and in 1956 settled in St Ives.
Solo shows included Waddington Galleries, Marjorie Parr Gallery and LYC Museum and Art Gallery, Brampton, 1981. Arts Council holds her work.
