A pair of Chinese biscuit-glazed ceramic parrots dating to the Qing dynasty, 19th century. Each modelled perched upon a pierced, naturalistic rockwork base.

Decorated in a rich emerald-green glaze with contrasting iron-red beaks and feet, the figures are presented as an opposing pair.
