An exceptional pair of Regency period oak armchairs in the Gothic Revival taste, dating to circa 1820. The finely pierced tracery backs beneath pointed arches are complemented by matching Gothic arcading to the arms and friezes, all crisply carved and well-proportioned.
Raised on chamfered legs with shaped stretchers and retaining a rich, consistent patina.
